Stewart Bell lives for Formula 1. Unbridled enthusiasm opens doors
and Stewart’s articles have been adorned with exclusive quotes
from interviews with Formula 1’s greatest stars - including Michael
Schumacher, David Coulthard, Robert Kubica, as well as the ringleader
himself, Bernie Ecclestone. Stewart has written features, reports and

Motorsport News Magazine, Melbourne’s uber-popular mX daily, and

Joanna Hall is a freelance travel, lifestyle health and beauty writer
based in Sydney, and publisher and co-editor of the new online luxury
travel magazine, Ultimate Travel. Hailing originally from Ireland, she
grew up in London, and now happily calls Australia home. Joanna
travels with her Australian husband Ben, also an experienced journalist
and photographer, and the pair spend a lot of time on the road seeking
new luxury travel experiences.
John Lander has been based near Tokyo for 25 years. A “reformed
academic” as he calls himself, John hails from San Francisco but
considers Asia his home. A world traveller by nature, he has turned
travel into his profession, photographing the exotic as well as the
sublime. When he is not travelling and photographing the world, he
camps out in his beach house near Kamakura, Japan and writes travel
essays with the occasional swim.
Margret Meagher has been reporting on the arts in Australia and overseas for over 20 years, both as a publisher and a writer. In 1991, she founded State of the Arts magazine and in 1994 established the State of the Arts website (www.stateart.com.au), which has since become one of the most popular arts and entertainment websites online.
During her 18-year career, award-winning journalist Kylie Miller has
worked in senior writing and editing roles for major daily newspapers
in Australia and overseas. She won the prestigious NSW Young
Journalist of the Year award in 1994, which included a month-long
placement at The Straits Times in Singapore. Kylie worked for eight
years at The Age, Melbourne, including six years as a television
columnist, feature writer and deputy editor of the Green Guide. She
is currently collaborating on a collection of children’s stories with her
mother, Michele.0 Kylie regularly contributes articles to the Herald Sun in Melbourne, where she also works as a sub-editor.
Craig Tansley is a freelance travel journalist based in both Sydney
and Melbourne. He’s been on the road for six and a half years and
has been a regular contributor for everyone from The Sunday Times in London to Action Asia in Hong Kong to The Sunday Telegraph and The Age in Australia. He’s surfed with Coldplay, Ben Harper and
Groove Armada for FHM, been tackled by a 120 kilogram Wallaby
prop forward at the Rugby Sevens in NZ for Inside Sport, dressed in a
skirt and a kilt in Sydney’s CBD for New Woman and been robbed at
gunpoint on a travel story in Rio. He spends six months a year on the
road fi ling travel stories.
